The easiest way to avoid standing in queues to pay your electricity bill is to pay your electricity bill. Most states in India now pay their bills online and Gujarat is also involved. At present, 4 different facilities or electricity providers have come to Gujarat as a result of the rigidity of the power board in the state. So GEB or Gujarat Electricity Board no longer supplies electricity and it is the state distribution companies that are doing this. There are four companies: North Gujarat Vij Company Limited (UGVCL), Central Gujarat Vij Company Limited (MGVCL), West Gujarat Vij Company Limited (PGVCL) and South Gujarat Vij Company Limited (DGVCL). How to pay your electricity bill through BillDesk?
BillDesk is another option for unregistered users to make online electricity bill payment, without login. It is a quick payment method where you can pay through the BillDesk or Paytm. To pay using BillDesk:
Step 1: Visit the BillDesk payment page.
Step 2: Enter your11-digit Consumer Number and the captcha as shown. Click on Check Consumer Number.
Step 3: Your bill details will be displayed on the screen. Enter your mobile number and email address.
Step 4: Choose BillDesk as the payment option. You can also pay via Paytm.
Step 5: Click onPayment Via BillDesk / Payment Via Paytm, based on what you choose.
Step 6: This will redirect you to the payment page. Choose your preferred mode of payment (cards, internet baking, etc.) and complete the transaction.
Step 7: Make sure to download your PGVCL payment receipt.

UPI: Pay Electricity bills using the Unified Payment Interface.
